Jolie Godfrey
Hi, I’m Jolie Godfrey. I’ve been in the mortgage industry for 22 years, and I’m grateful every day to help people reach such an exciting milestone in life. I’m someone who truly values relationships, and I love getting to know the people I work with—not just their paperwork.
I’ve been married to my husband, Justin, for 22 years, and we’ve built a life we’re really proud of together. We have two kids, Kayla and Lane, and I’m also a proud grandmother to my grandson, Kince, and my granddaughter, Bonnie. They are such a big part of my world and keep life full of love, laughter, and a whole lot of fun.
My faith is a big part of who I am, and it guides the way I live, love, and show up for others. I truly believe in doing things with honesty, kindness, and purpose, and I’m thankful for the blessings in my life and the people I get to serve.
When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me at home on the farm, taking care of our animals—cows, chickens, and our dogs, including my two weenie dogs who run the place and keep me entertained daily. Farm life keeps me grounded, and it’s honestly my favorite way to recharge.

Marketing Manager / Administrative Assistant
Hi, I’m Jewels Westra! I’m Jolie’s personal assistant and the Marketing Manager for our team, making sure everything stays organized, on track, and runs smoothly both behind the scenes and online.
One of my favorite parts of what I do is getting to know each and every borrower. You’re not just another home loan to us; we truly care about your journey to achieving homeownership. I make it a priority to ensure our borrowers feel informed, supported, and confident every step of the way. There’s nothing better than finally meeting everyone at the closing table and celebrating such a huge milestone together.
Outside of work, I live in Huntsville, Texas, with my black lab and my fiancé. I love spending time with family, weightlifting, and hunting. My faith as a follower of Jesus Christ is a big part of who I am and how I approach both life and work.
I’m so grateful to be part of this team and to help people turn the dream of homeownership into reality.
Kayla McDonald
Hi, I’m Kayla McDonald, a mortgage professional working alongside my mom, Jolie Godfrey. I’m proud to serve as both her assistant and her daughter, helping guide clients through the home loan process with clear communication, strong organization, and genuine care. I take pride in making the journey to homeownership feel smooth, informed, and exciting for every borrower I work with.
Outside of work, I’m married to the love of my life and a proud mom to three children—Kince, Bonnie, and Judd—who keep life full and busy in the very best way. Our family also includes three dogs, and we love spending our free time together, whether that’s relaxing at home or making memories with family and friends. I value connection, balance, and showing up for the people who matter most—both personally and professionally.

Emily Gunn
Hi, I’m Emily Gunn, a Loan Officer Assistant. For the past four years, I’ve worked closely alongside Jolie. Her mentorship laid the foundation for my work in this industry and instilled the guidance and confidence that continue to inform how I serve our clients today. I love keeping the loan process organized, clear, and moving smoothly. I take pride in managing the details, answering questions, and making the loan process as simple and stress-free as possible for our clients. My goal is to make clients feel confident and supported from start to finish.
Outside of work, I value faith, connection, and the simple joys of life. I enjoy reading, singing, spending time with family and friends, and unwinding at my secluded farmhouse with my Vizsla, Hazel—often on the front porch with a book. This balance helps me bring patience, care, and intention into everything I do for our clients and our team.
Loan Officer Assistant
Karen Hybner
I’m Karen Hybner, a mortgage broker, community advocate, and proud wife and mother. I was born and raised in Huntsville, Texas, and now call New Waverly home, where I’m deeply committed to supporting the families, schools, and local businesses that make our community special. My husband, Brian, and I are raising two energetic boys whose sports-filled schedules keep life busy and joyful.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in General Business with a minor in Business Management and am a licensed Mortgage Loan Originator. I combine my education, industry knowledge, and heart for service to help clients navigate one of life’s biggest financial decisions with clarity and confidence. I also serve as Treasurer for the New Waverly ISD Booster Club, supporting students and strengthening our local community.
Outside of work, I enjoy fitness, photography, reading, and my well-known love of cactus. 🌵 Above all, my Christian faith guides how I live and work, and I strive to honor God through my service and relationships. For me, mortgage lending is about trust, connection, and helping families step confidently into the place they call home.
